Parasite Cleanse: When and Why Clearing Matters

Understanding the “Clearing” phase of healing

If you’ve done “all the right things” — cleaned up your diet, supported stress, worked on hormones, taken supplements — yet still feel bloated, fatigued, foggy, or stuck, it’s not because you haven’t tried hard enough.

Often, it’s because your body is carrying more internal load than it can resolve on its own.

At Tethered, we don’t believe healing comes from piling more on.
We believe it comes from guiding the body through the right sequence at the right time.

Why Clearing Parasites Matters

Over 30+ years of combined coaching, we’ve seen a consistent pattern:

People improve their lifestyle.
They eat better.
They support digestion and hormones.
And yet something still feels off.

Often, what’s left isn’t a missing supplement — it’s something the body is ready to clear.

Parasites, fungi and microbial imbalances are more common than most people realize, especially for those with:

  • Children or pets

  • Travel history

  • Mold exposure

  • Chronic stress

  • Ongoing digestive or energy issues

This doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you.
It means your internal terrain may be congested.

This Is About Terrain, Not Fear

We don’t approach parasites through panic or extremes.

This work is not about:

  • Diagnosing illness

  • “Killing everything”

  • Starving the body

  • Forcing detox

It’s about supporting the terrain — so your body can release what no longer belongs, at a pace it can handle.

When the body feels safe, it clears more effectively.

Where the Parasite Cleanse Fits

At Tethered, we guide people through a specific arc:

Regulate → Clear → Clean → Embody → Sustain

Most people try to clear too early — before the body is regulated — which leads to overwhelm, symptoms, or burnout.

The Parasite Cleanse represents the Clear phase:

  • After some rhythm and stability are in place

  • Before rebuilding deeper strength and digestion

  • As a strategic reset, not a lifestyle
